TRAPILHO

A Bruxana também já começou a tratar dos presentes de Natal. Fez estas bases em trapilho para copos e recipientes quentes. Pois é, a Bruxana também trabalha com trapilho, domina esta técnica e até já fez tapetes e malas com ela... que claro, vos mostrarei noutra altura ;)

PRESA NO ARAME

Já se vê que estas últimas fotos foram todas tiradas no mesmo sítio... acontece quando não temos modelo à mão e há que improvisar :) Não seria a primeira vez que me sinto tentada a perguntar a quem passa na rua se não quer pousar para a foto: - olhe que vai aparecer num blogue fantástico!!!! Hum, talvez quando eu for famosa ;P

Este modelo de mala fica sempre bonito em qualquer tecido. Fui buscá-lo ao livro "Amy´s Butlers Style Stitches" ("Take Flight Handbag") alterei-o um pouquinho, mexi-lhe nas dimensões, fi-la mais pequena. O original é do tamanho da mala "Mondrian" que fiz em Agosto para oferecer a uma amiga.

This style of bag is always beautiful in any fabric. I got it from the book "Amy´s Butlers Style Stitches" ("Take Fligth Handbag") changed it a little bit, shifted it in size, made it smaller. The original is "Mondrian" size, the bag that I did in August to offer a friend.

CAMALEÃO

Ora cá está o tecido axadrezado em tons de azul. A flor tem um alfinete e dá para tirar e usar como acessório numa peça de vestuário, por exemplo: num casaco! Gosto como se mistura na paisagem, como um "camaleão". Quando estava a tirar as fotos pensei: vai ter pouco contraste, as cores diluem-se com o resto da imagem... mas acabou por funcionar bem :)

Here is the tartan fabric in shades of blue. The flower has a pin and you can take it out and use it as a garment accessory, on a coat, for example! I like how it blends into the landscape, as a "chameleon". When I was taking the pictures I thought: it will have little contrast, the colors are diluted with the rest of the image... but it turned out very well :)

BLACK & WHITE

E  porque não há duas sem três, fiz mais esta sacola para juntar às outras duas :D E... para não fugir à regra, o tecido utilizado é também do IKEA.

`CASTANHAS À LAREIRA´

Cá em casa gostamos muito de castanhas e como temos lareira, quando a acendemos aproveitamos para assar umas quantas. Ficam bem saborosas, como as que compramos na rua, só falta mesmo embrulhá-las em papel de lista telefónica. Foi o Luís quem teve a excelente ideia de comprar o assador de barro.  

At home we all love chestnuts and whenever we lit the fireplace, we take the chance to bake a few of them. They are very tasty, just like the ones we buy on the street, the only thing missing is to wrap them in phone book paper. It was Luis who had this great idea to buy the roaster clay.
