O meu Natal é sempre festejado em três casas, no dia 24 jantamos em casa do
João e da Teresa, no dia 25 almoçamos e jantamos em casa da minha irmã e no sábado
seguinte jantamos com a Paula e com o João. Logo, os presentes são separados em
três grupos, aqui fica o primeiro grupo de presentes que fiz para oferecer este
Natal. À sogra que é fã da Nossa Senhora de Fátima fiz-lhe um relicário, à
cunhada que tinha gostado, fiz-lhe uma mala "Scotish Girl", à
sobrinha fiz-lhe uma boneca com as características dela e à mãe e à avó da
Teresa, ofereci-lhes umas almofadinhas e sabonetes de alfazema. À Meg fiz-lhe umas "leggins" e pintei-as (ela andava
apaixonada por umas que viu na internet). Aos homens
dei-lhes um frasco de doce feito pela Paula. Este ano tentei ao máximo
oferecer produtos caseiros, feitos à mão. Os presentes foram muito
apreciados o que me deixou bastante feliz :)
My Christmas is always celebrated in three houses, on the 24th we dine at João and Teresa´s house, on the 25th we lunch
and dine at my sister's house and on the follow saturday we have dinner with João and Paula. Being so, the gifts are separated into three groups and
this one is the first group of gifts that I made to offer this Christmas. To the mother-in-law, who is a fan of "Nossa Senhora de Fátima" I made a reliquary, to my sister-in-law I made the "Scotish Girl" bag, to
my niece I made a doll with her features and for Teresa´s mother
and grandmother, I made some lavender sachets and offered
handmade soaps. To Meg I made a pair of leggings and painted them (similar to the ones she saw on the
Internet). To the men I gave a gallipot of jam, made by Paula. This year I tried to offer mainly homemade gifts. The gifts were greatly appreciated which
made me very happy :)
