Speaking of chocolate, there is a book I read a long time ago and that I liked it a lot, a sensual and feminine story, told around the kitchen and whose chapters start with various cooking recipes that we can use. I am talking about "Like Water for Chocolate" from Laura Esquivel's a Mexican writer. I enjoyed so much this unexpected and funny book that for a while it was my election gift that I chose to offer to my friends (until lacking friends, of course, ehehe). I'm actually fond the Spanish writers, as they write in a passionate way, about the culture of their country and its people everyday. I read yet another book of the same gender, but from another author, "La Cucina" Lily Prior, equally great. If you have not read yet, put it on your list of "must read" books ;-)
